Salomon documented a claim against the organization that circulated the tape, and against the Hilton family, whom he blamed for discoloring his standing by recommending that he had misused Hilton.[388] Hilton later sued the organization that delivered the tape, Kahatani Ltd., for $30 million for infringement of security and enthusiastic distress.[389] 


Under the title 1 Night in Paris, Salomon started dispersing the tape himself in April 2004 through the porno company Red Light District Video.[390] In July 2004, Salomon dropped his claim against the Hilton family after Paris Hilton's protection claim was tossed out of court. Salomon and Red Light District Video consented to pay Hilton US$400,000 in addition to a level of the tape's deal profit.[391] However, in 2013, Hilton made a case that she never brought in cash off her sex tape:"[I] never earned anything. I bring in enough cash pleasantly. My aroma [line] makes enough, I don't have to stress over that."[392]

In August 2010, Nathan Lee Parada was captured after security men spotted him using two blades outside Hilton's house.[393] He was seen as liable on one lawful offense check of endeavored first-degree private robbery and was condemned to two years in state prison.[394] 


In October 2010, James Rainford bicycled past gatekeepers at the passage to her gated local area, went to her home, and started beating on her entryway.
